We have retrofitted a standard heat shield to fit the GIRTHIER Mossberg 590A1 Heavy-barrels. The ORIGINAL A1 Shield is the HARDEST gun-part in the world to find.....so we made our own. The shield does not use the standard plastic shim between the cross-bolts, so there may be some slight rubbing in the area, but the lock-up is rock-solid. We warranty everything we make FOR LIFE! Made in the USA (All components Included) Heat shield is made from black high-quality tenstile steel and includes all necessary hardware and tools. STOP BURNING YOURSELF DURING RELOADS!!! Classic cheese-grater pattern for the Trench-gun look and function. WILL NOT FIT Vented Bird-barrels. -Shield is 13.75" In overall Length. -Barrel must be clear and smooth from the receiver 13 3/4" down the barrel (No mid-length sights). -May need to bend shield to accomodate Magp*l forends (See youtube for mods.) -Will not fit Shockwave without mods. -Fits ALL Smooth barrel lengths, including 18 inch barrels -Will not add noticeable weight to your gun. -Will not rust. -Will not melt. We warranty everything we sell for LIFE! You break it, or throw it off a CLIFF, and we replace it.
