Features EJ/AB maker stamp, crown acceptance mark, and early 3-digit serial. Crossguard carries original Swedish unit marks (“49A / 428”). Scabbard is correct early bright steel variant. Very good condition with no pitting. The No. 9 Mk I is a post-WWII British bayonet designed for the No. 4 Lee-Enfield rifle, combining the rugged socket system of the wartime spike bayonets with a practical Bowie-style blade. Produced in the late 1940s–1950s, these bayonets served through the early Cold War and saw use across Commonwealth forces. Known for their sturdy construction and distinctive hybrid design, they’re a solid collectible piece from the final era of Lee-Enfield development.
