vracer111Just got this Stocky's Mini VG carbon stock for Howa 1500 Superlite delivered yesterday when I thought was getting one for the mini action. Measured the action length right around 7" on this stock where the mini is about 6 5/8". I also weighed it and it comes in at just over 1lb 7oz. The color pattern is their gray marble. The finish is like in the last picture of this listing, there are little marks/indentions/lines in the surface in many different areas on it. Just noting that that's how the surface is on these stocks, they are not a perfect, smooth surface finish. Briefly thought about keeping it and building up a Superlite barreled action, but it's not really a type of rifle I would really want to use though would be an interesting one. Don't really want another bolt gun either. Going to just take a bit of a cost hit and pass it on if I can.
