And when one does pop up it’s usually $800+ and gone in five minutes. I hunted for one for years. Finally another knife nerd says, “Have you tried just messaging Kim? He answers on Instagram.” He does. This knife is built on an actual leftover Spartan blank he still had, and finished by Kim as a completely custom one-off. OD green ruggedized G10 handle with an orange inner layer. Balance is perfect. Ergonomics are perfect. Fit and finish are perfect. This thing is violent art. There is exactly zero percent of me that wants to sell this knife. It is the pinnacle of stabby excellence. Truly a one-of-one from Kim Breed. I do have receipts and provenance. That said… If someone wants to come in at the “I magically found a Spartan Breed” price of $800, I will sell or trade it. Otherwise it happily continues living in my safe. Trades considered. Worst I can say is no. Shipping Reality Check (Read This Before Messaging Me): I print labels at home and drop packages at the local UPS access point (inside a grocery store, because small-town life). They scan it whenever UPS decides today is the day. Could be same day. Could be tomorrow. Could be “soon-ish.” I have absolutely no influence over this process. There is no real UPS hub in my town. The closest one is about an hour round trip toward I-5. I am not burning fuel and sanity so your knife arrives twelve hours sooner. You will get what you paid for. I ship. I communicate. I have feedback. Just don’t expect Bezos-level logistics sorcery. If USPS is used, emotionally prepare yourself. The last package I sent ground took nine days to travel from Oregon to Arizona.
