mudddWanted, cool stuff to decorate recently remodeled VFW post. We recently spent a large amount of time & money remodeling our local VFW post. Looking to get cool items to decorate the walls. Hoping to get a bunch of items representative of service members wartime experiences. Thinking of putting up memorabilia and a small placard which explains origin and use. Ex: I'm putting up some original WWII airborne drop maps... and some items from my NSW GWOT time. Maps, old radios, inert munitions / firearms, expended rocket tubes, stupid size wrench the tankers used, etc. you tell me what would be cool. we spent a lot on the refurb / remodel and are cash poor, but as a non-profit, I can offer a tax favorable receipt of value from donating you can plug into your tax filing.
