This is the "RACER" style shoe. If you are attempting to install a Freedom Smith into a STEEL FRAME Canik, this will be good practice. It's extraordinarily difficult to install without damaging the anodized aluminum due to how tight the trigger well is. The wear is superficial and doesn't affect performance in any way. If you don't care about the aesthetic, this will improve the ergos and feel of the trigger by considerably reducing take up. This usually cost around $95 with shipping and tax.
