For safe handling, the lock is equipped with an additional side-mounted slide lock. The D2 steel blades are coated in black reducing reflection and adding durability. The handle is made of steel plates and fiber-reinforced nylon (FRN). The nylon has the characteristic moon and dimple texture of the handles on Heckler & Koch military and law enforcement handguns. The knives are equipped with a pocket and belt clip for tip-up (r) carrying and are available in two versions with different blade shapes.
